In this self-paced session, staff will take part in practicing using the proficiency based progress tables created from reported standards. Staff will be asked to review the reported standard table from a specific grade level, review a piece of students work (pdf, video, or picture with caption) and practice through a google form sharing feedback that you would conference with the student in order to plan the next steps in learning. Staff will also share the level of proficiency based on the student work in order to practice inter-rater reliability in using the tables. Once staff members have practices using the tables with actual Kaneland student work, feedback can be shared on the language within the table for future revisions. This is a great opportunity to dive into the proficiency tables at or near your grade level and learn the specific language on the table for your reported standards. This session may be complete alone or with a team.
